Theme it Thursday: Haggis Daft

Today is all about the Haggis & Black pudding

One of Saltire Hospitality’s main passions is showcasing the best of Scotland’s larder (our name may give that away)!

Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish and arguably the national dish of Scotland, glorified by Robert Burns in his poem “Address to a Haggis”. We get ours from Campbell’s Prime Meat who provide us with premium quality Scottish beef, fish and seafood. Stornoway black pudding is also of course Scottish and extremely tasty!

We have had some fun in the kitchen today playing around with these amazing ingredients and created the following 3 dishes.

"Blaggis Bon Bon" - Haggis & Stornoway black pudding bon bon, wholegrain Arran mustard

Haggis croquette, turnip puree & whisky sauce

Haggis & wild mushroom empanadas & hoisin dip
